Woodstock was incorporated in 1856 and it is the oldest incorporated town in New Brunswick. Woodstock is on the west bank of the Saint John River, about 75 km (46.6 mi.) from
Fredericton. Woodstock has many fine 19th Century homes, churches and civic buildings to reflect its Victorian heritage.
Woodstock is known as the service of the valley with everything from department stores, to gift-ware and window decor. Woodstock is the perfect place for walking, hiking and picnicking.
