Neguac is a small community nestled along the north eastern shores of New Brunswick, more specifically, in the Miramichi Bay. Neguac is home to a vast Acadian history, as over 90% of the residents in Neguac are French. The village of Nequac was incorporated in 1967, as over two hundred years earlier, in 1757, the first Acadian settled here. Today, as in the past, fishing is an economic main stay. Neguac is positioned a total of 78.5 km (48.8 mi.) southeast of Bathurst.

Neguac is a scenic little coastline village, known for pristine sunsets and sunrises, glorious ocean views, a rich Acadian past, ocean sports, fishing and so much more. Neguac celebrates annual festivals ranging from a Rendez Vous Festival to a Giant Pumpkin Festivals. Neguac is home to delicious local seafood and a generous hospitality.
