Dalhousie is located on the Restigouche River Valley and at the most northern point of New Brunswick. The town is on a plateau surrounded by bodies of fresh and salt water housing many species of wildlife, fish and birds. Dalhousie is home to one of New Brunswick's highest-rated campgrounds the Inch Arran Park. Not only has this park won awards for its service and facilities, they also purport to have an inexplicable lack of flies and mosquitoes! Dalhousie offers many sports for the sport enthusiast, whether it is sailing and power boating in the summer or skiing and ice fishing in the winter. Dalhousie also offers the "Bon Ami" festival in the summer serving as a celebration of the town and its heritage.
