Blacks Harbour is a village on a harbour of the same name opening onto the Bay of Fundy. It is southeast of the town of St. George, west of the neighbouring community of Beaver Harbour .Blacks Harbour is referred to by locals as "Blacks" and it is is a friendly, small fishing village. Blacks Harbour has year-round ferry service to Grand Manan Island. The 32 kilometre ferry trip operates to the port of North Head on Grand Manan Island, which is the largest island in New Brunswick. In Blacks Harbour, fishing has been its major source of income over two hundred years.

Blacks Harbour is home of the world's largest sardine industry. Blacks Harbour has lovely beaches for walking as well as several hikes in parks surrounding the water. Blacks Harbour is known for it's strong, friendly community where "everyone knows your name."
