St. Martins is a tiny, yet popular community situated on the southern shores of New Brunswick along the Bay of Fundy. The scenic little community was first founded in 1783 by a group of Loyalists, and was incorporated in 1967. Originally, St. Martins was not known as St. Martins, but Quaco. St. Martins became known in 2007 as the official "booktown" of New Brunswick, as it is home to numerous bestselling authors. In the 1800s, shipbuilding was a key industry in St. Martin, however, after shipbuilding dissolved the town discovered its possibilities as a tourism destination and began leaning toward that industry. St. Martin is just 54.8 km (35.1 mi.) east of Saint John.

St. Martin is a beautiful, scenic village, home to the Fundy Trail Parkway, which offers numerous trails leading to beaches, rivers, advantageous lookout points and more. A museum peers backward in time into the local history, including the shipbuilding days and much more. St. Martins is home to a handful of surrounding bridges, a lighthouse and even sea caves that can be reached by kayak at certain times of day. Two local beaches offer a spectacular opportunity to enjoy the local nature, including the aforementioned caves, picnicking, building sand castles, swimming and simply relaxing. As well, enjoy fine-dining, shopping, kayak tours and endless amounts of pretty sights and exciting activities.

St. Martin accommodations include bed and breakfasts, cottages, inns and campgrounds.
