Quispamsis New Brunswick is just 20.3 km (12.6 mi.) northeast of Saint John, traveling along Highway 1. A member of Kings County, the area of Quispamsis first belonged to Maliseet First Nation. Quispamsis would begin to form into a community in the late 1700s as both Acadians and Loyalists arrived to the land. In 1998, Quispamsis merged via an amalgamation with neighbouring communities Gondola Point and Wells. Today, Quispamsis is home to over 15,000 residents.
