Pointe-du-Chêne is a seaside community, situated on the southeastern corner of New Brunswick, a total of only 3.9 km (2.4 mi.) northeast of Shediac. Pointe-du-Chêne is also situated next to the Northumberland Strait, offering vast, scenic views of the ocean.

In the first half of the 20th century, Pointe-du-Chêne was a stop for the European and North American Railway, providing a means of business and prosperity for Pointe-du-Chêne at the time.

Today, Pointe-du-Chêne features a wharf, a yacht club, an excellent golf course, fishing, delicious local seafood, festivals, a motorsports park, a fish market and much more. Pointe-du-Chêne is a great place to experience nature, such as at Parlee Beach Provincial Park, which includes some of the warmest waters in Canada, as well as numerous games, sports grounds, a restaurant, a theatre and more. Feel free to bring your dog with you to Parlee Beach as well, and enjoy the sights with your fury friend.

Pointe-du-Chêne accommodations include bed and breakfasts, vacation homes, motels and more.
