Grand Digue is a small community situated on the eastern shores of New Brunswick, along the Northumberland Strait. As well, Grand Digue is a member of Kent County. Grand Digue is largely a bilingual community, mostly of Acadian origin. In fact, Acadians first came to the land in the late 1700s but were not the first inhabitants. The Mi'kmaq were the first to live on the land here in Grand Digue, and originally titled the area "Esedeiik." Before the town became known as Grand Digue, it was largely known to be just another branch of Shediac. Grand Digue is 34.3 km (21.3 mi.) northeast of Moncton.

Grand Digue is home to the Pioneers Museum, which is a replica of a church that was built here in 1788, the first church in the area. Included at the museum are artefacts and insight into the early days of Grand Digue. Grand Digue is also home to beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, plenty of wildlife, a scenic coastline, fishing, kayaking, swimming, local art galleries and a vast history.

Grand Digue accommodations include bed and breakfasts and cottages and campgrounds.
