Bath is located on the Saint John River in Carleton County, New Brunswick. The Saint John River is the second longest river in North America. A section of the Saint John River called the Monquart River runs right through the village of Bath, making it a picturesque location. One of Bath's attractions is its Monquart River covered Bridge which was built in 1927. Although it was damaged by a fire in 2001 it is an attraction worth seeing. Bath's main industry is agriculture and they specialize in growing potatoes for the famous McCain brand French fries.

Bath has a major hospital and several amenities for your convenience. Buzz Hargrove, the president of the Canadian Auto Workers was born here. However, Bath is best known as the birthplace of Klondike Kate; a northern frontier heroine and a large contributor to the development of Canada.
